Big Showdown Rules Question
« on: December 13, 2011, 06:29:44 PM »
So during the game, the Payoff Point is 20.

Player A has 19 points.
Player B has 18 points.
Player C has 17 points, and is in control. As strategy suggests, (s)he picks a three point question, blocking out the other two players.

Now, i know that Player C answers the question unopposed, but how would either opponent regain control of the game? If Player C answers incorrectly, does that question then just become a toss up for control, or is there another way? I assume that Player C wouldn't be allowed to answer 3 pointers unopposed until kingdom come.
Fun Fact To Make You Feel Old: Syndicated Jeopeardy has allowed champs to play until they lose longer than they've retired them after five days.

Player C deadball means that a one-point question is tossed-up for control of the board.
