I loved it, wish she can introduce MNF every week.

FTR: I seriously don't miss Hank Williams Jr's intro, it became a cornball and cliche in the 90s.

I hope I'm that together when I'm 90.

She is just incredible...in a William Shatner kind of way (I mean that positively). She knows who she is, she can play with and against type with a just-go-with-me-on-this twinkle in her eye, combines bravado with vulnerability, delivers what the public wants from her, and she does what she wants to do, critics be damned! And so professionally! Shatner's a ham, he knows it, and he markets himself accordingly. Betty's a pleaser, she knows it, and knows just how much restraint to put on it to make herself welcome, not desperate. Incredible, incredible lady. Someone not long ago mentioned how overloaded this board will be when Bob Barker passes. Half of the posts will probably be people saying "big deal." Reserve double bandwidth for the lovefest that will happen here when Betty no longer walks among us. And, in some ways, we can't ever imagine that ever happening, can we?
