Entertainment Weekly is reporting that FOX is casting for a US version of the UK dating show Take Me Out. If you haven't seen or even heard of it, take a look below.

Personally, I like it. It takes some of the best pieces of the better dating games and throws them all together. This could be really good, but everything just about rides on the host and decent casting. One thing I appreciate the UK version for doing is casting a really diverse group of girls (and guys), something I fear FOX won't.

I feel I should add for accuracy it's not a UK format (French, I think, and the first version was Australian). But our version has been one of the more successful.

I watched the Irish, British and Dutch versions. I must say this was quite enjoyable despite me not being fond of dating type shows.
