Oooooh, sorry.  We were looking for "because you touch yourself at night.". Touch yourself at night.   You retain control.

Yes. That's exactly why. And Wikipedia backs you up. Look and see. I just made the Wiki entry myself. Who cares if it's true?
Happy birthday to Mike K!

Aw, you're way too kind to this old man, at least old compared to all those youths who shared their sub-25 ages in that other thread.  The next time you make your way to the Northcoast, I owe you some form of food or drink.

Progressive Field. April 5. My 32nd straight Opening Day. Perhaps you could give me and Bev a tour of Success Tech.
(We are done with the Dream House discussion, aren't we?)

I don't think I'm available that day.  We have the 6th off, for Good Friday.  The 5th is a conference day, though that might have been sacrificed with a recent round of concessions.  Plus you assume a tour of my school would be fun or safe.

Yes, I take your point. Perhaps we'll just meet at The Thirsty Parrot.
Bring Lemon & Eberle. We'll have a ball!

I'll go to any pub that involves parrots in any way. They can't help but be fun.

I can think of two possibilities:
One, with the $150 "light", maybe somebody felt that being able to double a $150 question would make luck too much of a factor.
Two, remember that when they switched to the Money Machine, they also switched from three possible answers to two for each question; that could have played into the decision as well.

Besides, they had the "double dollars" light that replaced the "prize" light on the Money Machine during celebrity weeks (so that all of the awards given to charity were cash).
