If memory serves, this is right at the back end of where GSN's prior lease wrapped up. It's somewhere in this late June 1986 time frame, anyway.. If I had the time or the inclination, I could be bothered to find out specifically, but as I have neither I can only guess. I know from memory this is at least very close at the point at which the run typically cycles back, so if the show progresses forward for even just a few days with contestant continuity and a celebrity schedule roughly similar to this one, (Scroll to Week ~197), then they've likely leased new episodes - which given a typical lease would carry us through through the fall of 1986 into early-mid 1987.

GSN posted on their Facebook page that they are airing episodes never before seen on the network starting this week. So these episodes we are seeing are indeed *New* to the network.

Out of curiosity, how far did USA get with the daytime eps? It seems like they only showed from whenever it became "The New..." (Oct. or Nov. '82) to about mid-1984, and then eps. from 1987-88.

They show most of the eps. from late 1984-the 1988 finale in consecutive order (for the most part) from 1988-1992. They began with the Heidi Bohay & Michael Spound week. Then, they switched to late 1983-late 1984 eps. in 1992 (they began with the Martha Smith & Ken Kercheval week, and ended with the second Roxie Roker & Marla Gibbs week).  Then, they switched to the 1982-1983 eps. in 1993 (they left out the first two weeks  and ended with the Rita Moreno & Michael Spound week). Finally, they went back to late 1984 in 1994 (they began with the Mary Cadorette & Ed Begley, Jr. week and ended with the Mary Cadorette & David Graf week).

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere... but according to GSN's online schedule, it looks like 100K Pyramid is returning on Monday as well (along with a few other minor changes).  Will be interesting to see if its the same episodes they've run into the ground in recent years or if they went back and picked up the 1985-1986 season.

Any other time, I'd assume it was second or third season (and hope for the second), but with the new batch of 25's, Season 1 doesn't seem unrealistic! (It's interesting to note that, if this is true, SP is doing better than P+.)

\I'd be happy with Season 1 or 2. I haven't seen most of Season 1 since it was new, and I didn't keep the key eps of Season 2 when I had the chance.

And it looks like they're giving Dawson Feud and Match Game as break as well.......

Match Game does appear to be scaled back to only one episode per day (8:30 AM Eastern), but Dawson Feud is still on, but now one hour earlier (8:00 AM Eastern).

I'm glad to see that GSN is at least not ashamed to promote the fact that they show "classics," but I'd love it if they at least removed Borland Feud from the morning and replaced it with Combs, or even another Dawson episode, just to keep with the motif.

\Karn Feud...classic?

I can't believe this fall marks 10 years since the Flannel Feud started up, but no, not a classic.

Not that I'm asking to see it, has GSN ever shown the Louie Anderson years. I know PAX did for awhile in their little evening game show block.

/It honestly wasn't the worst show in the world
//Well, except maybe for Louie's mumbling

Nope, his version of Feud is the only one they have never shown.

They skipped a show from yesterday to today. Yesterday they showed 6/24/86 (Tuesday), on which Vicki won $850 and (I think) a computer. On the 6/25 show (Wednesday), she won $2,000+ and a car. I hope there was a problem with that ep, because I'd hate to think that in trying to line up the days of the week, they chose to keep 6/24 and skip 6/25.
