...it could be possible that Wink's dice were from several made for Merrill Heatter back in the NBC High Rollers days and just used again in the Wink run...

Now I'm probably way off on this, but weren't Wink's dice square-cornered, while the earlier versions had rounded-off dice like in the picture up top?

And IIRC the Trebek dice tended to roll better because of the rounded corners.

Here's a company that actually calls their giant dice "High Roller Dice."

First, thanks to everyone for some great sites for interesting props.
Second, since you've brought up the different dice shapes, I checked my box game covers of the Trebeck and Martindale versions, and you are correct - they aren't the same - so why did I get the answer I got to my question? Probably because I remember that when I asked the question, I worded it "Where did Merrill Heatter get the dice he used on High Rollers?" By not indicating which version, it could well have been answered in reference to the NBC run. I probably shouldn't make guesses that make me seem like a doofus. Anyway, I appreciate y'all. G'night -

This is off topic, but I found giant Card Shark sized playing cards several years ago at a gaming store in a mall.
