I'm trying to come up with a way to shorten "joins in on joke to try to deflect that he is in fact the butt of it" to replace the "Move One Space" square. :) "Joins in on joke he is butt of in attempt to deflect?" Does that fit?
Yup.  The card has been updated.

I'm well aware I'm the butt of this joke, Chris. I got that, I'm not going to hide the fact, and I'll take my lumps like a man.

If I were younger (and let's not dredge up the past, please), I'd more than likely throw a fit at this, but I'm going to be a bigger man than I was in years past and take my lumps; no arguments, no deflecting, no joining.

Heck, I'll go a step further and thank you, Klauss, for showing me my faults. Totally, 100% sincere on this. Well played.

How is "utterly misses the point" not on that card?

/or can I take "doesn't get the joke" on that one?

Awesome. I just need some dates now, or an italicized callout to TV Tropes...

That's terrific: you know what you've done wrong in the past. Are you going to change your behavior?

I've seen this one a few times in about the last 2 years. And yet, I still see conspiracy theories and a lack of understanding of the TV industry...and business in general.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

All of this can be solved quite easily, and your GSF experience made far more palatable, with one little change I made months ago:

If someone quotes the guy, does that still work?

Alternately, the GSF experience would be more palatable if those who need to do some learning would do their learning.

No, you still see the quote. Which sometimes causes a big WTF moment as you're scrolling through threads...all the funnier when you show the original post to see what everyone's faceslapping about.

Given that I came up with the idea, I anoint myself the Benfield Bingo Commissioner. As such, I decree that Benfield Bingo is like Calvinball: you can put whatever you like on your card. So go nvts, my friend!

I would take this as a personal insult if I cared at all.
