Just now found this thread and havent read all the way through it..

My HG of Game shows:

National:any regular Concentration Shows from 1966-72
More Cullen evening TPIR from ABC (1963-65)
Early NBC  Hollywood Squares 1966-70 daytime

Locally, I'd love to find one episode of Quick As A Wink, the show (Along with the Big 5/Upbeat Show) that launched Don Webster's long career at WEWS-TV 5 in Cleveland..

Someone sent me a cd with audio of a May 1963 episode of   Seven Keys off WEWS Channel 5 Cleveland-complete with commercials.  I posted it  a couple years ago in the Video section but can repost it here when I get home.

Merrill sure got a lot of mileage out of the same idea: The Celebrity Game (Parks version and Reiner version), Funny You Should Ask, People Will Talk, The Hollywood Squares and Battlestars.

My Holy Grail pick is for the Carl Reiner version of The Celebrity Game, the one with the chandeliers and harp music.

You forgot All-Star Blitz. The guy recycled a concept almost as much as Bob Stewart did, except Bob had more than one concept.

Ah, so I did.

Did a typical All-Star Blitz panel contain Jan Murray, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Gypsy Rose Lee or a younger and less drunk Paul Lynde? Perhaps that's what threw me off the scent.

And I'm also being unfair to Bob, come to think of it. Lord knows Heatter has tried to slap a new coat of wax on High Rollers in about 47 different ways.

Which version of Gambit are we on now?

/At least give him credit for not bringing back Hot Seat.

How about theme songs/music?  I'd like a clean version of the Hit Man theme, and I think it goes without saying that most of us wish the Whew! music package still existed.
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

That reminds me. I wonder how the restoration process is going for the music package?

Here's the picture of the tape box

A more universally viewable link: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1551416&l=437ac06243&id=137270176287768

From what I hear, the restoration went great, and what's on the label is exactly what was on the tape.  The museum is holding on to the music for the time being due to the incident with the Legends of the Hidden Temple music being posted on other sites and David Stanley's reaction.  It seems it will be posted eventually though (so nobody go pestering the museum about it.)

One more from the Wolpert well:  A clean version of "Blackout".  The game itself may not have been the greatest, but that theme was contagious.

Well, that's great to know! Better that than the tape being unplayable, mislabeled, etc.....
There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.
