"The Mole" set to return in 2013 (in Oz)
« on: October 17, 2012, 05:46:40 AM »
Some exciting news (well, for this little black duck) - after a ten year hiatus, the Seven Network here in Australia are planning to produce an all new series of "The Mole", which was extremely popular and successful ratings-wise back in the early noughties.

Taken from the Seven Network's own press release, releasing their programming plans for the 2013 season (courtesy of the "TV Tonight" blog site).

THE MOLE – CULTURE CLASH
It’s the show where you can’t trust anyone and in 2013 it returns to Seven bigger and better than ever before. In THE MOLE – CULTURE CLASH, the contestants will come from different worlds. With varying socio-economic backgrounds, religions, cultures and beliefs, it’s a sure-fire recipe for conflict and tension as they try to uncover the mole’s identity.

Each week, physical and mental tests will divide the competitors as one person among them will knowingly sabotage their quest. That person is the mole.

No word yet on who may host the show - Grant Bowler will no doubt be involved in the 3rd series of "The Amazing Race Australia", so there's a question mark on whether they would use him on this show as well (as they did for all previous "Mole" series excluding the last).

Yay/boo.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

Looking forward to this- and hopefully for a male winner, as 4 of the 5 winners here have been female.
