If you celebrate Halloween, have you ever dressed up like a GS host/character/contestant/prop/whatever?

This year, my girlfriend and I are planning on getting some pastel sweatshirts from the thrift and making iron-ons so we can be Supermarket Sweep contestants.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

I was planning on buying a Double Dare Shirt, sweats, knee pads, and a helmet for Halloween this year. Then I found out I had the night off.

And you let that stop you? :)

You needed a question card with "SCHLONG" written on it to round out the costume.

Three years ago for Halloween I threw on a suit, bought a glittery microphone from Party City along with fake $100 bills and went as Wayne Brady.  I thought I was being clever because everyone was already in costume so it would (sort of) be just like the show.  A friend and I hit up a couple bars around town and I would go up to some of the patrons and do Quickie Deals with them, asking for something related to their costume (i.e. a train ticket from a girl dressed like a conductor). I'd pay them with the fake $100's if they were able to come up with that item.  The folks that remembered the Hall version (because the Brady version had only been on for a few weeks at that point) got a kick of it.  The ones that didn't surprisingly weren't as offput by a random black man asking them for a deck of cards in exchange for $300 as one would imagine. :-)

Our QuizBusters taping schedule is in full swing in October, and some of our staff, including all the MSU students who run the cameras, wear costumes on the taping day closes to Halloween (Tuesday the 30th this year).  The kids who tape that day always get a kick out of it.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Dunno if you can tell, but that's actually Steve's face taped over Richard Karn's on the DVD case... :-P

Great costume :)

No, I didn't even realize you pasted Steve Harvey's face over Karns and I own that same game, too, lol. But then again, I haven't played it in years :)

In Italy we have this gameshow, Avanti Un Altro!  with many characters that could make for excellent Halloween costumes, but the Jinx and the Alien are by far the best

Depends. How many buttons did your suit have? ;)
Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.
