This isn't related to your question but thanks for the PYL uploads.  It's a real treat watching the show in its early days.

To answer the OP's question, not that I'm aware of. Brad Francini has three clips of the Newton pilot on his website (uploaded "by request"; make of that what you will), and clips from both pilots were shown in series-debut promos back in 2002.

And I second Dale's gratitude on your uploading the 1983 episodes, especially since I don't have GSN.

I make of that somebody asked him to do it.

I guess you could make a mashed potato volcano of that if you want. Go nuts.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

Not to volunteer him, but perhaps Mandel Ilagan?

I've seen the Tomarken pilot (though it's been several years) but not the Newton one.  Peter would have done fine with the show, but I'm guessing they wanted to go with someone who was younger and had more energy.

The energy part they got, in spades...

About the Whammy Guard...was it actually achieved in the pilot?  Because I am wondering if it had an animation(s) to go with it.  One thing I noticed about W!'s whammy animations was that he doesn't get blown up, maimed, etc. as much as he did in the original series.  I wonder if they saved that for Whammy Guard animations if they had any.

I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.
