What a year. Trending topics have been Dancing with the Stars, Steve Harvey's Family Feud, American Bible Challenge, The Pyramid and Beat the Chefs. It doesn't go without saying that the acquisitions of Minute to Win It and Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader? have been continuous hits for the network. This has also been the year of six different classic leases, plus a much needed Jeopardy! lease.

I didn't think the Bible show would work, but it did!  They did some targeted outside advertising (conservative radio shows) so that helped bring awareness to the show.  Harvey Feud brought many eyeballs to the tube as well.  Pyramid disappointed; need better players and a better-known host to make it work.

Has an opinion on the upcoming posts that are promised.
I dunno; if it confines all of his uninformed blathering to one single thread, I think it serves a valuable purpose.

I don't watch GSN for a number of reasons, so I don't really care to rehash this argument again. But it aggravates the hell out of me that The Pyramid, a show that's actually very well produced as both a pilot and a regular series, can't seem to get a fair shake.

I'm sorry. I know it's a lengthy post but it gets points out about 2012.

Do you realize 99% of the reading audience doesn't give two squats?

I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Oh, holy good Lord.

This is rapidly ceasing to be entertaining, even from a "how big of a fool can he make of himself?" standpoint.

Is it wrong that I lol'd hard at the uber-long mutl-color rundown of GSN's actions?

Ok how about this. How would you rate GSN in 2012 on a scale on 1 to 10? (10 being excellent, 1 being horrible)

Threeve.
