NBC Picks Up "Hollywood Game Night"

Jack from Will and Grace thought playing games in a cocktail-party atmosphere would make for a great TV show.  So he convinced NBC to buy it....or could they be stealing from a Wil Wheaton idea?

Anymore, the only way a celebrity game show gets noticed is to have actual celebrities, not reality show leftovers and Anthony Anderson.  And the only way to get actual celebrities is to have a celeb in charge who can ask his famous friends to participate.  Color me intrigued.

And I Hope it will be like Family Game Night on The Hub, but NBC Could get a shot of putting Howie Mandel's Take It All to Daytime giving a Challenger for CBS to air Wayne Brady's Let's Make A Deal.

A few years ago, I came up with seems to be a similar concept, and it would've aired late at night (11:00 hour or later), with a revolving lineup of puzzles and word games (think the call-in-and-lose shows of the mid-2000s, except in-studio). If done right, I think this could be a lot of fun, NBC or not.

When I read the concept, I thought either Friday nights or even late night after the talk shows (Poker After Dark's timeslot) or Saturday Night Live. They have some weird celeb show on after SNL now.

And I could castrate myself by dumping battery acid on my crotch.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Question #1: What have you got against Anthony Anderson?

Question #2: Who is Anthony Anderson?

Answer the second question first.

Anthony Anderson (not Michael Strahan). He's done quite a few comedy movies here and there, and I believe he co-starred on one of the Law and Order shows.

Not just any of the Law & Order shows...the mothership itself.

I believe he co-starred on one of the Law and Order shows.
He was a detective in the last two seasons. He was great.

Ah, so it was the main L&O? For some reason I thought it was SVU?

How bad is NBC's comedy lineup?  We're trying to ID Anthony Anderson and we're not mentioning his current series.

NBC has a comedy lineup? When did this happen?
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.
