B&W Overnight Promo on GSN

GSN has started airing a promo for its B&W hour starting on 12/17. Clips of IGAS and WML are seen. I don't ever recall seeing a promo for the B&W Overnight shows before.

Bless their hearts.  Something else that's new this year is that the listing services are getting and including the specific original air dates of the shows.  No other details, and I doubt there are too many people who can look up that date and find out which episode it is, but it's still nice to see them go a little bit beyond the barest minimal effort possible.

Theory: Could these great, colorful ads be a sign of GSN permantly leasing Black & White shows? They're trying to test the waters on how well these shows can do at 2am

While there are those of us who hope for that every year these come up, by all indications (including a conversation I've had with a GSN insider) this is once again a little, temporary seasonal treat.  I have a hard time believing that ANY cable television network is all that concerned about how well ANY programming does for them at two o'clock in the morning.

Btw, the Harvey 1-3AM eps have been on fire with ratings, and so has Baggage in the 12am hour. Late nights are doing well

All the more reason, then, that they aren't going to screw it up with fifty-year-old panel shows.

I don't recall them having colorful promos for B&W week the past few years, but if I recall correctly, they did use some colorful bumpers the first year they did this.

My DVR has had a series recording set for the last 5 years for What's My Line? and I've Got a Secret and even while it has been gone, it still has the series set. And every year it still picks up and records the week. I love it.

Very nice promos, I can't wait for the week to start.
Me: Of all of the game shows you've hosted besides Jeopardy!, like High Rollers or Classic Concentration, which is your favorite?
Alex Trebek: I'd have to say To Tell The Truth, because it was the first time in my career that I got to sit down while I was hosting.

Keep in mind that 2:00 in the morning in one part of the country is 11:00 in the evening in another.  GSN does not have a separate "west coast feed".

I  think you have him confused with GSL87. :)
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012
