30th Anniversary of Three Game Show Premieres

I've gotta find the article, but back in the late spring of 1983, Gloria Steinem led a lawsuit against NBC...because she considered Dream House discriminatory towards homeless people.
I'm surprised it didn't say "discriminatory towards single mothers", although they did have occasional weeks of single-parent contestants (each with one of their children as their partners).

My good friend at the golfing range says $25,000 Pyramid was cancelled because it was offensive to Egyptians.
"I'm an Egyptian's favorite game show.  What am I?"
"Well, for a Jew, it's Jeopardy!"
(Sorry, but I just couldn't resist that set-up...)
