It will probably replace The Pyramid (w/Mike Richards).

...

Yes, that, or you could stick to the schedule/ratings posts. Here are two glaring points:

  1. We\'ve had a fake TV exec meeting in the past two days (with an addendum, even). One should not reach into the same comedy bin too often.

  2.
  3. GSN\'s Minute to Win It is not analogous to the other shows you listed, since it is the same show, title and all.

On whose authority can you make that statement?

I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Not like they could do The Cube instead, could they. Sigh.

(I know, I know, \"familiar format,\" \"mass appeal,\" etc.)

NBC should feel so proud of themselves. First they started the \"THE _______\" trend with The Choice on FOX, The Taste on ABC and The Job on CBS. Now they can claim to provide GSN with original programming.

I\'m now looking forward to Friend or Foe without trivia questions to be the revival of Take It All.

And I hope they get Cedric to host this.

Me: Of all of the game shows you've hosted besides Jeopardy!, like High Rollers or Classic Concentration, which is your favorite?
Alex Trebek: I'd have to say To Tell The Truth, because it was the first time in my career that I got to sit down while I was hosting.

I don\'t know if NBC is responsible for it, but I agree 100% that calling your show \"The ___\" has become the lazy throwaway thing to do. I\'d think that with so many TV options nowadays, networks would be a little more creative, esp. when the show itself is already a ripoff.

/Networks being uncreative?

Huh? You\'re really calling placing an article before a noun a \"trend\"?

Okay, can we please fix the mobile quoting problem? The old site read the code fine. Don\'t get why the new one uses HTML.

Doubt it. You\'re probably looking at $50-100K at most. And that\'s perfectly okay.

/Still would much rather have a second season of The Pyramid

//Syndication anyone?

Give it to me with a different host and we got a deal.

(I don\'t understand what the whole big to do about Mike Richards was, as I previously stated...I found him rather lacking in a few areas, especially where \"not being robotic\" was concerned. The only thing that separated him from Ty Treadway is that I believe Ty Treadway actually IS a robot.)

I didn\'t get to watch too many episodes, but from what I saw, he did well enough. Like you said, he was pretty robotic, but I chalked it up to jitters.

That being said, I wouldn\'t cry myself to sleep if they did replace him.

Best top prize for Minute to Win It and GSN\'s budget would be good around $250K.

For someone who represents to be such an expert on ratings, you certainly know jack over diddly about budgeting.

it\'ll probably mirror the MundoFox tree (1k)-2k-3k-4k-(5k)-10k-25k-(50k)-75k-100k, though I\'d get rid of the 4k, make 10k the 2nd safe level, and put a 15k between 10k and 25k...
