Between the two, no question: Anitra rocked the miniskirt. Still surprised me how much they wore those in the early years of the show. Yikes!

I think the hair ruins it for Janice in those early days. Years later, she\'d always wear it up. For her, I always liked it better that way.

Avocado colored appliances/furnishings?

Absolutely. I grew up in a house built in 1974, so I grew up with avocado-colored bathroom fixtures. We also had the goldenrod-colored kicthen appliances.

Unrelated, but as a child of the 70s I also tried coloring the people in my coloring books as wearing plaid pants.

A house near mine has harvest gold siding and avocado shutters.

Our house was built in the mid-fifties (year in public record is later than the year of the newspapers we found stuffed inside a wall) and sported both pink <and> green bathroom fixtures... and green and black tile in the bathroom that had the green bathroom fixtures...

...which have been replaced.

/however, the old toilets worked a LOT better...
