gameshownetworknews.blogspot.com is dead.

Seems that LetsGoYankees\'s website has been given the heave ho by blogger or some other entity. Can an outside force actually shut your personal site down, however odd and misinformed it is? Never had my own webpage, so I\'m not sure.

If a site runs afoul of the provider\'s TOS, then yeah. Does this mean that was the case here? Dunno.

How do you know it was an outside force as opposed to LGY simply taking his ball and going home?

I don\'t. I saw the note on his former webpage. No more, no less.

Well, yeah, but your post pretty clearly presumes that it\'s the work of an outside entity.  It\'s a fair question to wonder how you jumped to that conclusion.

I saw Alex at @buzzerblog mention it on Twitter; he used the words \"shut down\", then checked it myself soon after. I may have misread the message, but it implied that another entity besides himself had taken it down. The message now says that it has simply been \"removed\".

Well, hopefully you took something away from this about Alex\'s reliability as a source for such things.

Trust me when I tell you the error message didn\'t change.

\"Shut down\" would still be accurate if LGY shut it down himself. (I didn\'t read Alex\'s original tweet, so I don\'t know if he implied anything about who shut it down.)

In a strict technical sense, yes, that\'s true. I would imagine Alex fancies himself a better communicator than to resort to defending his statements through technicalities.

I\'ve had Cleveland Classic Media on Blogspot for six years now..From what I gather, it would take a very large error in judgement  on my part for them to shut me down. Highly likely that LGY shut it down himself..

Clarification:I had another blogspot.com  blog on different subjects that I shut down myself a few weeks ago..(just hadn\'t posted on it in a long time)..Checking it now, it has the same error message that LGY had on his, so it\'s just about certain he shut it down himself.

I don\'t understand why there is even a question.
