On \"Game Show Moments Gone Bananas\" (repeated tonight on GSN), there was a clip from an unidentified game show. The excerpt involved identifying the letter that could be placed in front of each partial word to form another word. Revealed one at a time, the clues were:


 


ART


ALL


ABLE


ARZAN


 


Nobody guessed T (or anything else) until \"ARZAN\" was revealed. 


 


What show was this? Judging from the graphic design, it must have been from the 1970s or early in the 1980s?

Thanks, yes, it was indeed the \"Puzzlers\" pilot with Pat Sajak. (Upon finding the clip on YouTube, it looks like I had missed the identification of the show.)
