What I found interesting is that King World have apparently trademarked the phrase, "America's Favorite Quiz Show".  :-)

Goes to show you how trademark-happy/abusive companies have become.

Hyundai recently trademarked "America's Best Warranty". Okay, what if Honda comes out with a 15-year, 150,000-mile warranty? Then wouldn't that be America's Best Warranty?

And that's what spawned 3 spinoffs, that I'm sure are well-known.

1. Super Jeopardy!

2. JEP!

3. Rock N' Roll Jeopardy! (hosted by Survivor's own Jeff Probst, and is probably still on the air)

R&R Jeopardy! ceased first-run production in 2001, and GSN axed its weekend reruns of it more than a year ago. GSN could do worse than to resurrect it for a weekend original, even if it meant using to the 1984-2001 J! dollar values, or playing for points in the maingame and paying a flat $5K for winning the game. Odds of that happening at this point are next to zip, but a nice thought nonetheless.

You welcome. I just happened to see it on the front J! page. Must have been added fairly recently.
