If and when Bob Barker retires, do the producers and/or the President of CBS/Viacom wants a final show of clips of the show...just like Johnny Carson?

BTW, the topic was Bob Barker retirement:20??...so, don't you start about he is much older than 20 or the show is 20 years old.

Well if there is one show to do this, this would be it.

And I would hope he would wear a tux.
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

they should do a clip show and at the end Bob should personally hand his mic over to Todd Newton.

I'm guessing when Barker decides to hang it up, they'll actually do a primetime retrospective, a la the 25/30 anniversary shows. Don't know if they'll do any gameplay like with the anniversary shows, but if so, I'm guessing it'll be a formal event, with the contestants dressed up like in the old days of TPiR.

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

As I recall, many of the audience members were dressed up like empty chairs. But, yes, it's quite something to compare the suit-and-tie and wearing-a-dress players to today's group in which many of the participants are garbed as though they've just come from the gym.

Perhaps it refers to the 20th thread this week/month/year about a possible Bob retirement?

 So, polyester leisure suits? :)

Just so long as they don't dress up like they did in the old days of LMAD... ;)

ALthough it is poorly worded, I thnk he means Bob Barker retirment: 20xx; with his ??=the 2 digit integer following the 20.
