Small Bucks Question
« on: December 30, 2003, 06:42:46 PM »
I've always been curious. Are people who walk away with a total $500 or less have to wait the same time as someone who won $14,000 ? You think those people who win just $100 on Card Sharks, the producer gets out his wallet and hands the player his/her money on the spot !

And, a related question. Do those losing players on $ale of the Century or Family Feud really get their $45 or $82 respectfully they amassed if that is all they won ?

Thanks !

Yes they do. In the case of Feud, that only applies from 1976-85 and 1988-92. They stopped awarding dollars in the maingame when the Bullseye round debuted

I thought those points were converted to cash, until Family Feud's return in 1999, and since that time, the points were NOT converted to cash, as per Chris Lambert's Family Feud page.

This is one of the very few times Chri$ is incorrect. Dollars were not awarded in the maingame from 1992-95 on Feud either, and I can recall the grand totals always ending in multiples of five to back up that fact.

No, I don't think that at all.

It's all accounting and cutting checks, and I'm sure the checks are cut in the order in which the players are owed the money, and how much it is has not a thing to do with it.

Sure they do. And it takes the same 90 days after the show airs for that check to arrive, too.
