Question about the Dating Game shows... for the 1965-1973 era, is there a way to tell the 1965-1973 daytime shows from the 1966-1970 nighttime shows (or for that matter, either of those from the 1973-1974 syndicated season)?

Jason said a page earlier that in the nighttime shows, there would be people saying things like "Good Evening" instead of Good Afternoon", and Lange reminding viewers to watch the daytime show.

On the 1973-1974 Syndicated edition, which was weekly, ALL the episodes were called The New Dating Game.

And common sense would dictate that shows with episode numbers like 68-150 or 69-091 couldn't be nighttime shows, since the ABC nighttime shows only aired once a week (and could only go up to 52).

The first 2 episodes listed are easy to eye, the first episode of this marathon also included the return of Bill Dana in Game 2(who was on the 2nd nighttime episode). Now, 67-004 is one of the first episodes to air on Saturday nights, making the episode's OBD to January 21, 1967. Burt Reynolds' episode aired on February 18, 1967. Now Steve Martin's episode should be marked as 68-039, he was on the same episode as Richard Dawson and Bill Bixby, and of course, Farrah Fawcett's episode aired on March 29, 1969. Now as for Don Johnson's episode, was he on the daytime or the nighttime version? Moms Mabley's episode was marked as 67-014 and aired on April 1, 1967 in case you'd like to know. Now as for Michael Jackson's episode, did Michael Jackson's episode really air in June 1972? Because 72-110 was when he appeared in.

Martin appeared more than once.

For those curious, here's what the Jim Lange marathon consisted of, per the advance schedule:
-
-9:30 AM -- 1969 episode (#69-013) with Marc Copage and Farrah Fawcett

Wasn't he a bit young for her at the time? Marc, you lucky devil.

http://www.youtube.com/user/NewsTelevisionSeries/videos

This is his channel. Look at it. All the videos used to be uploaded Catnap1972. He stole them from him. That's all the proof you need, Chris. Please apologize for making fun of my name.
Well, as you can tell, NewsTelevisionSeries is kaput/vanished, so that'll be good news for catnap1972 and teeveegameshowstoo(he's the same person BTW) to return to YT.
