Family Feud Live

A Facebook friend informed me that Family Feud Live is coming to Cleveland in April.  When did Feud start doing a live tour?  Who are the hosts and announcers at these events?  Thanks in advance.

Family Feud Live has been available for a while as a special event, often seen at festivals and state fairs and the like but they've started a tour this year. As their website indicates, their first quarter of 2014 is mostly Canadian, but they appear to be adding more American dates in the second quarter. Bob Goen and Mark Walberg often do this show, but naturally, it's always based on availability.

This is the reason Southern Connecticut State University had to change its "Southern Feud" event to "Southern Duel," presumably to pressure the university to book Fremantle's event instead of hosting its own.

Thanks for the heads up, didn't know it was coming this way. I am a little less than 2 hours south of Cleveland and will probably make the trek. It looks like it is going to be on Tuesday, April 22nd at 7:30pm at the Palace Theater. Tix go on sale 1/31/14. My girlfriend and I enjoyed TPiR Live so we will probably give this a shot. Hopefully they use the full Combs replica set and not the cheaper looking facade type one. I have seen recent clips of FF Live, and they have used both. I have always wanted to see that full replica Combs set they built years ago for the Casino tours in the flesh and am glad to see it being used. My guess is the bare bones set is easier to tote around so that is probably what this venue will get. The flashier one is probably for bigger venues/events.

I've got tickets for Oshawa on 3/23 with friends that have come with me previously to TPIR Live.  Curious to see who's going to host (I'd be quite happy with Bob or Mark).  Play along game is an interesting twist.

I just found out that it's coming to Atlantic City in May.  I probably won't be around at that point, visit or otherwise, but I'm considering going to the one in Cleveland.

I just found out it's coming to Milwaukee on April 10th (general ticket sales begin this Friday at noon, but I have the Wednesday pre-sale code if anyone needs it...)

Gameplay preview:

Basically shows an intro video of how the gameplay will work (same as the one above), with seemingly two traditional rounds with 4 sets of 5 randomly picked people, two Fast Monies, an in-seat scratch game, and a 10K bonus game.

Though I'm massively confused by this: As an RI resident, I'm seemingly not eligible to participate as a contestant, according to 0:54 of the video, but May 22nd-24th they're coming to a little casino here in RI? Say what? I mean, I imagine they'd get a few folks from Mass and Connecticut, but I'd be willing to wager, having gone to Price Live in 2013, in this same casino, that like at least 80% of audience members will be RI residents.

If I can get that cleared up, I'm going to buy a ticket or two when they become available; Price Live was extremely memorable for me, as well as cheap at $30/seat, anywhere in the house of my choosing.

EDIT: This is not only an RI issue, but NY one (their residents are ineligible, too), but yet, they're going to Binghamton on April 5th. This is really strange on their end.

It's in the fine print at the bottom of the FF Live site.......RI residents are eligible in the RI shows.......NY residents can participate in NY and NJ shows.

Ticketmaster continues to show some listings, but only says SOME of the Canadian shows are cancelled (as well as the show in Binghamton, NY).

Thanks, Robert, much appreciated. Wonder what happened with this, to make for such an abrupt cancellation? Unusual, especially given the profits, numbers TPiR Live gave last year. Darn shame, too, since I was going to try to ask for other people's answers, in an effort to memorize the survey questions, profit more easily. Given how frequently they repeat material, I think it's a good practice if you get up there and/or want to help others.

I guess I should be thankful that the local one is still on. Obviously going one of the three days, and I'll give you all a report after.

One can only imagine that the 'abrupt cancellation' actually tells us quite a bit.  Namely, that they weren't generating enough ticket sales to make it worth their time. The TPIR live event was an excuse to print money for several years.  Fremantle thought they could go to a similar well and dreamed of similar success, but the appeal of the two shows (at least in an audience participation sense) couldn't be more different.
