$ale of the Century: Fame Game Font Question
« on: January 31, 2014, 06:31:58 PM »
I did view a few of the episodes I recorded and downloaded in recent days, and I discovered that there were two different versions of the cash prize cards used in the Fame Game.  I know the first font and color scheme were used in the earlier years, but the fonts appear to have been updated to a different font and neon color scheme later in the run.   Here are some of the images to provide examples:

Earlier version:

Neon version:

What I'd like to know is, what fonts were used on each of these Fame Game cash prize cards from both versions?  And does anybody have an idea as to when in the show's run did the font and color scheme change?

I am developing classic game show PC games.
If you'd like to find out information about them, PM me anytime.

The face on the first card is Aquarius. The second is Radiant.

It's sad I knew them both on sight. #INeedAHobby

The second is Radiant.

I thought the same thing, but the "5" isn't quite right.

Just had another look at the glyphs. The 5 looks about right but now the 0 looks too square. I'll chalk it up to different cuts from different foundries.

Maybe it was bolded? I looked at it myself and that was my theory.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012
