There is a mention on this website about a travelling show Bob did called Bob Barker's Game Show Giveaway.  Any details on this?

It was "Bob Barker's Fun & Games". My parents went to one back in the late 70's and won a dishwasher. They had to do a "Truth or Consequences" type of balancing plates stunt. They got 9 out of 10 plates balanced and were working on the last one as the clock ran out.

In typical Bob Barker style, "Let's give them the prize!".

The group sponsoring the show had went out and bought the prizes locally so they went to the store and picked up the $150 portable dishwasher. The nice wood-like substance top became just another place to put things on.

I believe in Bob did the show into the 1980's, and he mentioned in his book that he would travel on weekends to do the show and be back for 'Price' on Mondays.

I have a couple Prices from around '84 on tape where he promotes the Fun & Games Tour, too.
