Watching game shows together on TubeSynch
« on: July 04, 2014, 10:42:29 AM »
From their site:

Quote
tubesynch lets people create their own unique channel, add media from a number of sources to their channel playlist, and administer various control and customization over their channel. Video playback is synchronized between all users in the channel, so everyone is watching the same thing at the same time. Along with video, channels have a real-time chat interface where users in the channel can converse with each other. Turn your channel into an automated TV station, 24/7 radio station, or a simple hangout!

There's a ClassicGameShows channel here: http://tubesynch.com/r/ClassicGameShows

And I took the liberty of building a PressYourLuck channel this morning: http://tubesynch.com/r/PressYourLuck

There's LOTS of other stuff, too. I think it's a great idea. Check it out!

I think I probably know that answer to this question, but how much of this site's content is porn?

Not bad...can't imagine it'll be up very long once the copyright holders get wise.

I'm assuming there's no channel guides available? Didn't see one for this.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

None so far. I'm not sure if that's really the point of it...content can only be grabbed from places like YouTube and Vimeo, anyway.

There's a ClassicGameShows channel here: http://tubesynch.com/r/ClassicGameShows

Which, if I read the chat correctly, was launched by Bobby Peacock.

Better watch in a hurry then; it's liable to be deleted.

It's not Bobby, it's me.  Not trying to harm his reputation (it's been harmed enough as it is), I just took to using the name on certain parts of the 'net.  (If anything, this tells me I really need to find a different name to use.)

Rest assured; the channel's in good hands.

I trust you. :)

Not that it really matters who does or doesn't have control, I was just observing is all. It affects nothing regarding my viewership and I like the idea. You done good.
