I didn't know he was laid off by ESPN, but Howie "Stump the" Schwab* has landed a new role...consultant for "Sports Jeopardy!" He'll also help with the trivia.

*Apologies for the Berman-esque nickname

Does not appreciate his Boomer-given nickname being assigned to someone else

(Makes total sense that The Schwab would be involved in Sports Jeopardy, btw)

Working on TV in CT has it's advantages. Years back, Berman gave me a nickname as I was partaking in a charity golf tourney.

Me: If I win, I want a nickgame.
Chris: Thats easy. Matt "GREAT" Scott.

It was a cool moment for me.
