What does it mean for Family Game Night?

Hopefully, not "The End."

https://deadline.com/2014/09/discovery-run-rebrand-hub-835759/

From the article, which you obviously didn't read.

Quote
Discovery  would acquire some of Hasbro’s share in the struggling joint venture — but still leave the toymaker with a sizable stake —  and then likely rename it Discovery Family.

So if Hasbro is keeping a stake in the company and FGN is full of Hasbro property-based games, I would venture a guess that until Hasbro sells the rest, it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Will it sound too "Variety" if I call it Dischubery?

I strongly recommend ALL of the programs mentioned in that comment be immediately cancelled in the hopes that the jackbag will use his newfound free time to learn to spell.

Wonder how many things he broke when GSN rebranded a decade ago and when GAS went off the air
