Today Show: Bill Cullen "Price" retrospective
« on: December 31, 2014, 03:35:07 PM »
The granddaughter of contestant Doris Milke (who in 1963 won a record total $72,000+ on Price) tells the story of her big haul. Her episode has aired on GSN and is included in the article.

I didn't think Bob Barker had control over which B&W episodes were allowed to air...pretty sure that's factually incorrect, right?

Unless something's changed, yes, as the Cullen Price came before Barker was involved. I know at least a couple of NBC/ABC episodes GSN aired had fur coats.

Her last episode did air on GSN.   It was the 7/26/63 and her final total was actually $76,110.

IIRC, that episode had a pretty entertaining live blooper; Bill forgot to introduce the contestants and threw to the first IUFB right away.
