Not much to judge, granted, but I smell another overblown game show offering a million dollars, and NBC is banking on a big name to sell the show. Unfortunately, the show will prolly lack any substance to make up for all the pomp.

The article itself actually makes the show sound more like a Queen for a Day or 50s-era Strike it Rich, as opposed to the overproduced Q&A I was expecting. I now expect overblown sob stories and lots of manufactured drama. In other words, something closer to Deal or No Deal or the 2008 American Gladiators revival. Because NBC.

I'm sure there will be plenty of cameras to capture the footage.  The Patriots can supply the cameras, as long as their van's tires aren't deflated.

I'll throw out a guess that the show will be a format near to that of The Big Moment, which would have had to increase its own jackpot amount anyway had it been a longer-running series and not merely a summer replacement.
