Yes, the Mega-Millionaire era. I liked that. Too bad they discontinued it after Kevin broke the jackpot. Ah, well. That's show biz. I still enjoy the show very much.
Right, but Ed Toutant returned on September 7, 2001, because of that flaw on the $16,000 question from January 31, 2001. They gave him a NEW $16,000 question to start his RETURN show, and it was only up from there!

Afer Kevin's win, Bernie Cullen won the Flat-out million.

They realized that having a progressive jackpot didn't increase ratings, so they got rid of it once it was hit.  Unlucky for them and for contestants following Ed T., it was hit twice, leading to harder questions during Sept 2001, IMO.

I always preferred parabole to hyperbole.  They're easier to come up with equations for.

Hmm, so much for "Funny Money: The Algebra Edition". :-\
11/19/99 = John Carpenter
1/18/00 = Dan Blonsky
3/23/00 = Joe Trela
6/13/00 = Bob House
7/??/00 = Kim Hunt
7/??/00 = David Goodman
4/21/01 = Kevin Olmstead
4/26/01 = Bernie Cullen
?/??/01 = Ed Toutant

That's about as accurate as I can get.
Thank you Whoserman, some people in this forum just don't read what people say.

People answered your query in the beginning of the thread.  It just happened to get pulled off of your topic.  Doesn't mean that they didn't read what you said, just that they didn't want to repeat a reply.
