After one year as an online-only event, the Daytime Emmys return to cable thanks to a multi-year agreement with Pop (formerly TV Guide Network/TVGN) ...

Hopefully this means better production values and hosting, at least on the red carpet. Last year's show was a complete fustercluck from top to bottom.

It was just announced that Betty White will receive a Lifetime Achievement Emmy at the ceremony, honoring her for her long career, with a mention of her being "The First Lady of Game Shows."
