New GSN Show - Lie Detectors starts April 20

According to Buzzerblog, Lie Detectors bombed in its debut and GSN is already pulling it from the daily schedule.  It will now air once a week in primetime on Wednesdays at 9 PM with a repeat at 9:30 PM and every Saturday at 11 PM.  The current slot it held is being filled with Family Feud.

Can't they find any US-born hosts (I mean, presenters) anymore?  I see the same fate coming with the 100 Questions show on ABC.  Americans like to watch Americans.

Too late.  The host is Canadian, which is why the show had to be titled 500 Questions after being converted to U.S.

The show blows, but Roam (Rome?) didn't help its cause. The foreign accents must do wonders for golf broadcasts, but I find it odd that networks keep choosing them for games when their success rate is even worse than average. That is, unless they bring something else unique to the proceedings, as Anne Robinson (and I suppose Dawson) or the Beast did and do.
