This entire concept is Balderdash.

Ahhh, Balderdash.  :D

Definitely an underrated game show, and the best one that aired on that fledgling network.  That would be a show I wouldn't mind GSN getting a hold of.

By my tally it's third best at least--Supermarket Sweep, Hollywood Showdown and Weakest Link all aired at some point on PAX/ion.

I'm sure Elayne Boosler could use $52 in residual checks.

That's fairly close--Ross Shafer got about a hundred dollars every time GSN ran Match Game all the way through.

I was only comparing it to the shows which started on PAX:  Cover to Cover and their version of Beat The Clock.  Cover to Cover was OK, but Beat The Clock was a sub-par remake.

CtC wouldn't be a bad addition to GSN either. Reminds me of a GSN Original.

On the Cover.

Which sucked.the big one.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

I wouldn't go that far. At the very least round two was innovative, and the bonus round was something other than a race to the finish line.

I imagine the intention for this show is to get high ratings?

Considering that the game mechanism of Pointless doesn't work very well when it comes to the television industry, your imagination is correct.

GSN has this airing at 6:30 pm EST Monday to Friday. I didn't notice any repeats on the schedule. That's rather unusual for GSN.

I see that this show is currently taping in NYC. I just figured it would tape in La-La Land.

My U-verse guide shows repeats of Lie Detectors starting next Wednesday the 29th after Idiotest and replacing an hour of Idiotest repeats that following Saturday, as well as one or two more hour-long blocks of reruns between the 29th and as far as the guide went, which was around the 4th.

I believe it...Nice to see the "Best Week Ever" panel working together again.

So did anyone watch this? I saw Monday's episode. I think it's okay, but I like Idiotest and The Chase better.

I watched. A nice harmless way to spend a half hour.
