For the first time, a single-disc
collection of Nickelodeon game shows have been released on DVD via Amazon's DVD-R CreateSpace system for $9.99. Some of these have been previously released via digital download, but this is the first instance for such a compilation. The episodes included on this disc, according to the disc, are:
Legends of the Hidden Temple: "The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan"
Legends of the Hidden Temple: "The Jewel Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great"
Nickelodeon GUTS: "AJ "Mean" McLean/Amanda the Accelerator/Jamie the Jackal"
Nickelodeon GUTS: "Nervy Nikki/Tony the Tiger/Robert the Bull"
Figure It Out: "Aaron Carter/Kenan Thompson/Danny Tamberelli/Lori Beth Denberg"
Family Double Dare: "The Kandy Kanes vs. The Holders"
Super Sloppy Double Dare (1987): "Gabrielle and Dave vs. Carrie and Matt"
Nick Arcade: "Joseph and Danielle vs. Charles and Kari"
Some of the episodes are unique for being before-they-were-stars appearances for boy band members Joey Fatone and AJ McLean and others are just general episodes. It would seem positive sales of digital downloads warranted another release like this, so if you're interested in seeing more '90s Nick game shows put out, I'd recommend giving this a shot.
