It was nice to hear Burton Richardson doing the opening VO for the show again, although I did find it strange they did such an opening for one game and not the other. I also liked that they played two full games and skipped the "tournament" format from the 2008 NBC version (that version, IIRC, took out the Double round and did Single/Single/Triple to squeeze three games in an hour).
Steve Harvey's hosting was a bit odd. He came off like a robot programmed to react to certain words -- in this case, anything that would have Beavis and Butthead go into laughing fits. When the "buzzy" moments happened, he was engaging and somewhat entertaining. Otherwise, he appeared to be going through the motions.
He also appeared a bit lost during Round 2 of the Potter/Stone game, after both players in the Face-Off couldn't get an answer to the church collection plate question. For a brief moment, he looked baffled as to what to do next.
JD
