Interesting ebay Card Sharks items...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1980s-CARD-SHARKS-tv-game-show-2-original-card-props-/141829239015?hash=item2105ae70e7:g:yrsAAOSwiwVWSNDD

I'm guessing maybe these might have been used for studio audience games during tapings or something like that? I certainly don't remember these being on the show...

Same person also has a crew jacket:

Those satin jackets were huge in the 1980s (my wife got me a Mets jacket for Christmas in 1988), and hugely out of style now.  I bought an LMaD crew jacket from the 1990 revival in the late 1990s, and I haven't worn it once.  (In fairness, I'm also too large for it now.)

There was a time when windbreakers from the 1973-1982 version of Match Game would set off a bidding frenzy.

More of those Card Sharks cards with the shark and life preserver art have shown up on eBay. Some with red backs, some with blue backs and it also looks like multiple sets of each are available (2 blue and 3 red).

Does anyone in the know know what these cards were used for? A possible format change?

Is it possible these were used in lieu of the car game for a Young People's Week?
