Today on this date back in 1986, was a sad day in game show history as "Press Your Luck" aired it's final episode on CBS. The show was being broadcast at the 4 PM time slot where ratings dropped as many CBS affiliates pre-emptied the show for syndicated programs and after PYL end, the network returned the time slot to their local affiliates.
