Richard Quest won't return as host for Season Two of ABC's "500 Questions". However, the show is sticking to the news business to find its next emcee.

Current "Nightline" co-anchor Dan Harris has been tapped to host the new season, which is expected to premiere this summer ...

By going with a news guy, it wouldn't appear they're trying to solve the show's general lack of entertainment. Could it work? I guess, though I found the "let's reveal the randomly selected block pattern" tedious and unfulfilling. The fact that they did it for a single week in order to close out the show after a Gauntlet run was the hint that it wasn't a permanent thing.
