Fannie wrote today's installment of the comic panel Pluggers:

Seems like she was on one episode of MG7x too many...

I'm going to regret this, but...

Seems like she was on one episode of MG7x too many...

What does this even mean?

I think it means six more weeks of winter.

But I could be wrong.

I guess the comic is supposed to (in Brian's mind, at least) have a MG-style setup. "Her unmentionables don't come from Victoria's Secret; they come from <BLANK>..."

That's just a guess on my part though. I can take my two pennies back, if need be. ;)

1) That's a rabbit hole I really don't need to dive into.

2) That would make sense if appearances on Match Game were the only thing that Fannie Flagg did that was worthwhile. I wouldn't expect him to know that she was a published author as recently as 2013. Maybe she should have done a book signing in Cincinnati.

I read that Brian felt the joke was inappropriate for the newspaper. Hence why he felt the need to mention Fannie's connection with Match Game because of the direction some of the humor went.

Still 100% crap either way.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Depending on how you look at it, it is too bad he went for the opaque joke instead of just telling us what he thought.
