Query: Which was first?

Which game show was the first to have its audience yell the name of the show during its opening credits? My guess: Shenanigans.

I believe it went this way:
Wayne Howell: It's time to.....
Audience: SAY WHEN!!

Prove me wrong.....

Cordially,
Tammy
In Loving Memory: Dolores "Roxanne" Rosedale (1929-2024), Peter Marshall (1926-2024), & Chuck Woolery (1941-2024)

I know it has the "closest without going over" element from TPiR, but I'm surprised G-T didn't try to revive Say When over the years. That was my first time watching, but it's a fun little show, albeit a little repetitive.

I love that it closely captures the feel of blackjack more than the auction does. Time has likely passed it by but doing it as a single round of something larger (perhaps Bargain Hunters or It's Worth What) would have served it better than making a week-in-week-out endeavor out of it.

Plus it lives on through Grocery Game and Bullseye, so there's that too.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

In the 1952 game show called "Wheel of Fortune", the studio audience chanted the name of the show just like they do now.

Prove me wrong.

:)
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

Trying to prove Matt Ottinger wrong is like trying to prove a geometric proof wrong. :)
