TTTT '16 set photos

Here's a link to some new photos at ABC's press website:

I found it interesting that the voting indicator screens will show the face of whichever celebrity voted for whichever person among the "team or challengers."

On one of the promos ABC has aired, it's stated that one of three guys has the world's longest tongue. Ever quick witted Betty White is then heard asking "What are you doing after the show?"

Funny that they do this since he (Nick Strobel) made an appearance on LMAD a few months back, not as a contestent but as someone in the audience Wayne briefly interviewed.

She's a not-completely-obscure stand-up comic.

And, in fact, a game show host ("Seperation Anxiety").

While doing the research, I also learned that there were seasons 4-9 of "Last Comic Standing". That show became dead to us in season 3 when NBC cancelled the show right before the season finale.

/ Is Ralphie May still around? Does he do anything different besides scream into the microphone?

For some reason, I thought she was one of the stars of Comedy Central's Broad City. Apparently, I'm thinking of Ilana Glazer. :P

ObGameShow: Ms. Glazer recently appeared (fittingly) on @midnight.

/Ralphie May did a couple shows at the Funny Bone here a few years ago

I'm sure that I was able to hear his screeching 200 miles inland from you.

Twice, if you count the two-season wonder "Excused".

Looking at the B-roll video, it looks like they showed the audience a clip of Betty White on TTTT '90. The B-roll video briefly shows one of the contestants, but I can't tell who'd be the host there.

All of this stuff has me excited. I had high hopes for it, and these pics and videos really sell me.

Me: Of all of the game shows you've hosted besides Jeopardy!, like High Rollers or Classic Concentration, which is your favorite?
Alex Trebek: I'd have to say To Tell The Truth, because it was the first time in my career that I got to sit down while I was hosting.

From what I have seen on the b-roll, someone had to escort Betty.  It looks like she has trouble getting around.

I couldn't find an IMDB mention for her appearing on that version, but I did find an episode from week 4. Gordon Elliott was still the host.

Well, she is 94 after all...age does that to you, unfortunately.

My grandmother lived to the age of 95 and was bedridden for lots of the last bit. If Betty is able to play the game competently and needs assistance in getting around that is a microscopically small price to pay.

/it seems that another titan of our oeuvre needed "help getting around" too. He seemed to do OK.
