The Miami station finally broadcast several minutes of a game show to fill the time.
Nobody can satisfy my curiosity as to which game show it was, can they?
Glad I'm not the only one who thought about this... 
Per this article, some stations ran "The Newlywed Game" although I imagine it would have probably been any syndicated show the station was running at the time.
