Tattletales Question...
« on: September 15, 2016, 02:30:04 AM »
Was Tattletales originally to be for married celebrity couples only?  If so, when was the first week when they had a non-married couple(s) on the show?

I ask that because it was later in the series when there were episodes with celebrity couples who were boyfriend/girlfriend, celeb/fiance, mother/son, or in the case of Charles Nelson Reilly it was CNR and platonic friend.

Possibly Glenn Ford and Cynthia Hayward, who were engaged when they appeared in week #15 (late May '74) but didn't marry for another three years.

I couldn't find any confirmation whether Kaye Stevens and Tom Lindstrom were married; the IMDB isn't always complete for lesser-known performers. And Lindstrom's name pretty much comes up *only* for Tattletales. They first appeared in week #27.

There's also Richard Dawson and Jody Donovan, who were guests on week #35.

(The "staggered" airing pattern of the celebrity weeks during part of 1974 makes it hard to figure out exact airdates, especially with the incomplete airdate info during some months.)

Excellent work! I'm pretty sure that this is the preemption that caused TT to get off its M-F track initially:

Since MG would've also been preempted that day, it means that the week with Allen Ludden would've aired April 4-5, 8-9 and 11. New panels then started on Friday for a while.
