Most of the season premiere of TPIR did not get seen here in the NYC area. I looked up the recaps on the golden-road.net site.
That was due to breaking news about the bombings in New Jersey and New York, but the show was later joined in progress.
It was an interesting showcase round. The first showcase had a 45th season premiere theme, and the second showcase was a tribute to the 60TH Anniversary year of the original show! It featured some kinescopic footage of what at least one source says is from the very first episode. Although I think it could've highly likely been the pilot, it did show Bill Cullen seated at a desk, with his name on the front of it!
