Game show preemptions today (11/24)
« on: November 24, 2016, 09:22:43 PM »
I presume LMAD and TPIR were preempted today for the holiday.

Shows on Fox affiliates were preempted or moved elsewhere due to football (WOF and J! were not seen on WXIX).

Shows on NBC affiliates (particularly on the West Coast, due to football) were preempted or moved.

Didn't feel like starting a thread about it, but since it's here...
KIRO, Seattle's CBS affiliate, is doing something odd with WWTBAM, which they usually show at 3 & 3:30 pm. Today's new episode will be seen after The Late Late Show, at approx. 1:37 am tonight, with no second episode.  Due to CBS's college f'ball coverage, Friday's double run has been moved up to 9 am tomorrow. (Disclosure: I have no DVR / VCR at present, and am usually at work when new episodes of Millionaire (and, simultaneously, Celebrity Name Game) air.)

Yes. CBS showed the parade this morning, so no network game shows. If LMAD airs at 3pm EST in your market, the Lions-Vikings game pre-empted it, as it would every year.

And yes, I imagine some syndicated shows will be pre-empted tomorrow for college football on ABC and FOX.

/TPiR aired its Thanksgiving episode on Wednesday
