Michael Burger, Clint Holmes, or Bill Rafferty for Daytime Wheel

I don't see what qualifies Clint Holmes, and Michael Burger wasn't exactly a known quantity then.

Since we are talking about Daytime Wheel, I would have loved to see the audition tape for Jimmy Connors.  He was Merv's first pick to succeed Pat on Daytime Wheel, but NBC Sports overruled him.

"*Any name that comes to mind* for Daytime Wheel of Fortune" is really spinning your wheels unless you can justify your answer.  I can post a bunch of names saying they can host game shows until I'm blue in the face.  That doesn't mean they have quality number one of being a good emcee.

I think Goodson-Todman could have given George DeWitt another chance in the early-to-mid-1960s. I mean, it might have been DeWitt hosting the original Password or Match Game (I know, it wouldn't be the same.); or even Number Please. Maybe they should have hired DeWitt to host that one and given Collyer a break from daily hosting. (At least Collyer would still have TTTT to fall back on; even if it was just once a week at the time.) And if not as a host, G-T could have used DeWitt as a frequent celeb player.

Just my two million.....

I actually talked to Rich Fields on Facebook and he told me he actually was considered for it.  Out of his own mouth.

I'm impressed you could understand him, talking around Barker's schlong like that.

I mentioned it back when Celebrity Name Game first premiered, but I think Craig Ferguson would make an excellent host for Family Feud. Too bad Steve Harvey probably isn't going away anytime soon.

Speaking of Steve would have been great for TPIR.  He could have gotten on some dumb contestants like Bob did!

Again...use the Modify button. Just go back and say Steve would be great for TPIR.

He and Steve could have done an April Fool's episode!  Where he could do Feud and Steve could have done CNG.  Like Pat and Alex did for J! In 1997 and that's not the  first time.  I think Art James and Gene Rayburn did it back in the 60s!

Few selections strike me as being worse for Price is Right than Steve Harvey...
