Earlier this week, I'd seen the supermarket tabloid "National Examiner," talking about secrets and scandals of game shows hosts of the past. Although the primary focus on Dick Clark was the Payola scandal, from which he was cleared, one thing mentioned has puzzled me.
In recent years, Dick Clark has been mentioned as having "produced," the $25,000/$100,000 Pyramid shows. They mentioned that again this time, but as far as I know, Clark's only tie to the show was as host.
