Has anyone else who has watched Wheel of Fortune lately paid attention to Pat at the very beginning of the second segment, when Charlie O'Donnell is leading into the two fee plugs? He's been making a point of doing something weird for those three seconds. One day, he was kneeling in place; another, hopping on one foot; yet another, Vanna was in his place, reading through his cards.

I have no idea if this is in any way interesting to anyone else, but I had to at least check and see if anyone else had noticed.

This is, I guess, another permetation of Pat's throws to Charlie for the Jackpot round, which had their own segment on the 3,000th show.

"Charlie, put down that Viagra espresso, it's the Jackpot round!"

Last night I noticed pat petting the ceramic Dalmation during the 3 sec fee plug before the Mystery Round.  But that's the only one I've noticed as of yet.

Why stop with Chuck hosting?  Let Bob Goen and Rolf Benirshke each host a round.

For suggesting the return of Rolf, you need to spend some time in The Blake Emmons Chain Reaction Room.

Nope...it was the 3000th show. I remember that montage of clips, and wondered why Pat didn't do that spiel* during the 98-99 season.

*The previous season, Pat would always say "Charlie put down that (insert EXTREMELY random object); it's time for the Jackpot round!" and Charlie would do the Jackpot sponsor plug.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

They showed clips of pat saying those things to Charlie on both the 3,000 and 4,000 show.

Nah...Patrick Wayne is the greatest of all time. He needs to get another game show.

You're nuts. My long-lost half brother twice removed Doug Davidson beats Patrick Wayne by a longshot. :-P
